A respected travel journalist for over 30 years, Caroline Sylger Jones specialises in writing about retreats. She is the Retreat Editor of thinking women’s magazine Psychologies, for which she writes a monthly column and appears on Facebook live interviews, and the Founder and Creative Director of Queen of Retreats, a curated collection of retreats reviewed by trusted writers and wellbeing buffs. She travels as sustainably as she can, writes to inspire conscious travel on itmustbenow.com, and sells her travel photography.

Caroline cut her teeth working as a news reporter for The Bookseller weekly magazine, and throughout her career has written for high profile newspapers including The Guardian, The Times, The Times Magazine, The Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, The Telegraph’s Ultra Travel magazine, The Independent, The Evening Standard and The National in the UAE (for which she wrote a weekly wellbeing column for two years), glossy magazines including Condé Nast Traveller, Tatler, Red, Elle, Homes & Gardens, Health and Fitness, Men’s Health, Wanderlust and Om Yoga, and websites of note including The Huffington Post, healthista.com and i-escape.com.
